Junior Project Manager (m/f)

We are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our business area ‘Statistics’ at our head office in Cologne.

Project Management:

• Contract management
• Preparation and implementation of training programmes, workshops and seminars related to statistical topics (content and logistics)
• Budget management and control
• Recruiting of experts
• Project monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance of deliverables
• Preparation of executive minutes, conclusions and reports

• University degree  in Development Studies, Economics or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in implementing training programmes (organising and/or delivering training courses)
• Good knowledge of project cycle management and contract management (EU contracts)
• Good analytical, communication and reporting skills
• Computer knowledge: Office Software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are required, good knowledge of  German and French would be an asset
• Willingness to travel
• Proven ability to work in intercultural teams
• Flexibility, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
