Background:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our business area ‘Statistics’ at our head office in Cologne.

Job Description:

Project Management:

• Contract management
• Preparation and implementation of training programmes, workshops and seminars related to statistical topics (content and logistics)
• Budget management and control
• Recruiting of experts
• Project monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance of deliverables
• Preparation of executive minutes, conclusions and reports

Candidate's profile:

• University degree in statistics, economics or equivalent background
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience in implementing training programmes (organising and delivering training courses), preferably in the field of statistics
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in organising and implementing international seminars, workshops, conferences or meetings, preferably in third countries
• Thorough knowledge of project cycle management and contract management (EU contracts)
• Excellent analytical, communication and reporting skills
• Computer knowledge: Office Software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, German, French and/or Spanish
• Willingness to travel
• Proven ability to work in intercultural teams
• Flexibility, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
