Head of Project (m/f)


in El Fasher
 
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until September 30, 2018. There are good prospects for an extension. The place of work will be El Fasher, in Sudan (SD).
 
 
Your responsibilities

  • To manage 2 WFP projects, General Food Distribution, and Cash and Voucher Distribution in North Darfur
  • To manage all WFP donor relations, and be the primary liaison with WFP in el Fasher
  • Manage all WFP staff, for both GFD and CV
  • Manage all budgets and activities for WFP
  • Travel to field locations to monitor quality of programming
  • Provide capacity building of all managed staff
  • Manage an additional project, food security/livelihood and WASH, as needed and required by the North Darfur Program


Your Profile

  • Extensive WFP experience with GFD
  • Background in Agriculture, Food Security, WASH, and community development
  • Extensive project manager experience
  • Experience with living and working in an unsecure environment
  • Good knowledge of finances and budgeting, report writing, proposal writing, assessments, base lines, and surveys
